Telemachos Hotel

The personnel were very nice and tried to sort things out whenever we raised them. The rooms were clean, and the stay was pleasant, though the food was nearly the same every day. Air conditioning cost an extra 6,5€/day, but it was worth it. I left on the 11th of August. Parking never seemed sufficient for all the cars, and the hotel was a bit far from the beach.

The food was tasteless, disgusting, and had very little choice, so you'd likely spend the money saved on a cheaper hotel eating out. The all-inclusive deal felt like a trap: Wi-Fi wasn't included and cost an extra 5€ a day, and there was no room service. Our sheets weren't changed during the stay, and after day two I had to ask for clean towels. We were told every room only had two single beds, with no full-size beds available. It's a 20-minute walk to the beach. The island has beautiful places, but I'd look elsewhere for a hotel, since a few extra euros could get you a much better experience.

The pool and pool bar were great, with plenty of places to sit, though some were tatty. There was sun all day and some shade, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean, but the food was so bad that we had to eat out, even at breakfast, despite being all inclusive. I wouldn't go back.

We were happy with what we paid for, and liked the hotel, staff, and food. At first the staff came across as rude, but once we got used to them, we saw how lovely they were and appreciated everything they did for our holiday. People should remember it's another country and culture, and a five-star stay costs more. We visited in September, and the pool was definitely blue despite what some reviews say. It was a bit small for the size of the hotel and number of guests, so another pool would be a good idea since there's room. Still, for the price, we were very satisfied.
