The one thing we really liked was the spectacular view. The rest fell far short of the four-star hotel we paid for and felt more like a two-star stay. The room had a broken doorknob, and the door took force to open or close. The floor creaked and had a missing board. The beds felt springy, with semi-hard pillows. I can't confirm there were rats in the bathroom, but after hearing scuffling, I strongly suspected it. The old toilet flush needed a hard push. Wi-Fi was free, but barely reached the rooms and vanished in the restaurant. Breakfast was called a buffet, though the food choices were very limited. There was a dinner menu, which was nice. I'm relieved we only stayed one night, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The balcony in the upper-floor rooms was great for scenic photos, and the view was superb. Otherwise, our stay was just middling. The hotel was quite a way from the center, with an uphill walk, and the furnishings were old. Air conditioning was centrally controlled. Breakfast was a simple buffet, and dinner was so-so. I'd eat out instead.

The staff were lovely, kind, and always ready to help, and the whole place had a warm, characterful feel. The decor and location were really distinctive. With comfortable beds and breathtaking views, it felt like home away from home. My favorite hotel ever.

I first stayed here in September on my first trip to Delphi, then chose a different hotel on my second visit. I liked this one much more. The room had a lovely view and really nice light, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very kind.

The food was the biggest letdown. Dinner was wilted shredded cabbage, dry bread with olive oil and some white substance, then rice with a meatball. Dessert was cubed watermelon. The beer was all right, and so far we haven't had food poisoning, fingers crossed. Breakfast was extremely basic. The hotel itself felt like a faded old place, with things broken or worn, and parts of the complex seemed a little dangerous for kids. We could have managed that, but the poor breakfast and dinner made it hard. If you want a trip back to the 60s with a touch of wartime food, this is the place.
