Mavrodimos Guesthouse

The restaurant food is genuinely homemade and delicious, and well worth a visit even if you're not staying here. At the guesthouse, breakfast is very good too, with local products, homemade pies and sweets that leave you licking your fingers. It's a great place to stay in Eptalofos, very clean and well located. Most rooms have a lovely view of the mountain opposite. The amenities are more than adequate for a modern couple or family, and the owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and offer top-notch hospitality.

The food was a highlight for us. I've never had veal, goat, or boar so tender and full of flavour. Breakfast included fruit and vegetables from their garden and homemade treats, and we always had more than enough, so we packed some for an afternoon snack. They also gave us a short garden tour when we asked. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the place itself was quaint and lovely. Our rustic-looking room was super clean, comfortable, and had modern amenities. Sound insulation was great too, I barely heard anyone inside even when the place was fully booked. It's just a stone's throw from the town square. We just left and already miss it. A trip highlight in Greece!

We stayed for 3 days and couldn't have asked for more. The guesthouse is just 5 minutes from the village's central square and waterfalls, with wonderful hiking trails nearby. It's a great base for Parnassos ski center, Arachova, Delfi, Tithorea, and even Galaksidi, while letting you avoid tourist crowds and enjoy an authentic stay. Our room was extremely clean and tidy, and toiletries and personal care products were replenished daily. We loved sitting on the large balcony each morning to take in the breathtaking mountain view, even in summer. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with something different each day, all homemade by the family: bread, marmelades, butter, fresh orange juice, garden fruit and vegetables, traditional pies, omellete, and more. The family's generosity and hospitality show how much they love their work. We followed Mr.Mavrodimos's suggestions for attractions, sightseeing, and dining, and everything exceeded our expectations. The BEST VACATION experience we've ever had! Thank you, and hope we'll be back soon!

We had a great family stay at this quiet, serene spot. The room was clean and the service was great. Breakfast made with local products was really good. You can walk to the village center for food or coffee, which matters in high season when the small village centers can get too "trafficky". Recommended.
