Dessimi Beach is a lovely bay with clear water and not too many visitors. Sailing holidayers often moor there overnight. Dolce Villa is modern, clean and has everything you need, with a stunning view and just three steps from the garden to the Ocean. Since the garden sits above the beach, it feels very private even in the daytime. This was our second stay, and it was fantastic again. Our young adult children said it felt “like coming home.” They love relaxing here in the evenings and didn't feel they needed to go partying, so it worked really well for a family holiday. With a BBQ and Pizza oven in the garden and an excellent restaurant next door, you really don't need to leave Dessimi, and you won't want to leave the villa!

The beach at Desimi bay was gorgeous, with incredibly clear water and a couple of great tavernas nearby. The one beside Villa Dolce Desimi even made takeaway in the evening and called over the fence when it was ready. The villa itself sits right by the beach, with a lovely garden and views all around. During the heatwave, the sea breeze and shaded spots kept things comfortable for us and our one-year-old, while there was still room to sunbathe. Voula the housekeeper was lovely, too. When we accidentally locked ourselves out with our baby asleep inside, she came to help within five minutes. Can’t recommend it enough!

Waking up to those incredible views every day made Dolce Villa exactly the kind of holiday escape we needed. The setting is beautiful, and I’m sure it’s hard to beat anywhere else in Lefkas. Aspa and Voula made everything easy, replying incredibly quickly and sorting out anything that came up straight away. We’ve never had a problem with the house, but I know they’d take care of it if we did. It’s our favourite place we’ve rented anywhere in the world, without a doubt.

We had an amazing holiday here. The water was crystal clear, and the house had everything we needed. The beach is just two steps from the back gate. What more could you want?
