The apartment was comfortable and nicely updated, with a cozy balcony, good Wi-Fi, plenty of hot water, and nice towels and linens. It’s right by the best beach, with amazing water. The place is very pet friendly, which is hard to find in Greece. Andreas, the owner, was attentive and quick to help whenever we needed anything. He explained everything on arrival and gave us tips for the island. He speaks perfect English, much better than my Greek! Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend.

The garden was shaded by trees, and the bathroom had good water pressure. The old stone walls kept the spacious, traditional house cool, and we had a lovely time in Kythira. Elina was so generous with her knowledge and care for the island, telling us where to swim, eat, and shop. She gave us everything we asked for and didn’t leave out a thing. The 'tholaki' is both its name and what it is. A café with a very nice breakfast is only two minutes away by car. The location worked well for us since the beaches were closer than they would have been from the main town. We’ll stay at the tholaki again on our next trip to Kythira.
