Mr Kostas was very friendly, and the restaurant food was good with reasonable prices. The suites are brand new and have everything you might need, with sea views in most of them. The beach is right in front. It’s surprisingly good, though not sandy, and sunbeds are included in the room price. I’d recommend staying here for a few days.

We slept well and had a very nice stay. The apartment was clean, and the air conditioning worked properly. The hotel is right by the sea, with the same owners running the beach and its restaurant. Breakfast was amazing, all freshly prepared rather than junk food, with a lovely mix of flavors.

This is about the beach bar and the way we were treated. The old, worn sunbeds in the last row cost 5 euros, which already feels like a ripoff, but their behavior was the worst part. They made flimsy excuses to ask us to pay shortly after serving us, insisting on cash because they’d accidentally entered the order that way. I said I only had a card and asked if I needed to go to the register, since some places don’t have a portable POS. The waitress said that wasn’t necessary, but then nothing happened. When we were leaving, they watched us anxiously as if they thought we might leave without paying. My partner went over to pay because nobody had brought a portable POS, and they again said the order was cash. Very unprofessional.

The location was the highlight of our stay. Our Deluxe Suite was right on the water, with a quiet garden terrace, and we mostly heard the sea and birds. There’s shaded parking, and guests get beach towels and sun loungers. The host was kind and welcoming, and the restaurant was excellent, though fairly pricey for the area. We were surprised breakfast wasn’t included, but could live with that. The room had a handy little kitchenette, especially useful with our baby, and a supermarket is about a 10-minute drive away, so a car helps for groceries and essentials. We had a baby crib in the suite, but the housekeeping was a serious problem: during our whole 3-night stay the bed wasn’t made, towels and sheets weren’t changed, and the trash wasn’t emptied. With a baby in diapers, we ended up taking out the garbage ourselves. The place also looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while, with visible dust and debris under the beds and sofas. The shower water kept switching between hot and cold, and the internet was unstable, so streaming on the smart TV was difficult. Most satellite channels were in German, which may not suit everyone. Toilet paper has to go in a bin instead of being flushed. That’s understandable in some areas, but we would have liked to know beforehand. There were also quite a few mosquitoes, so bring something if you’re sensitive to bites. It’s a magical setting with real potential, and we hope our experience was unusual, but we expected better service and cleanliness, especially in a suite.
