The balcony, with its view over the mountains, was a lovely place to spend time, and the bed was perfect. Our room also had a mini fridge. Zatouna is a tiny village, but the hotel’s gorgeous setting among mountains and natural beauty makes it worth a visit. The people working there are so kind, helpful and caring. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

For anyone visiting the picturesque mountains of Arcadia, I’d highly recommend booking a room at Elova'. This cozy guesthouse is tucked away in the mountains near the historic village of Dimitsana. The service is great, the rooms are modern, clean and nice, and the views are impeccable.

The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. Zatouna’s clean air and a very comfortable mattress made for an idyllic, restful night. In the morning, I had delicious bites of real homemade cooking while enjoying spectacular views. It was an unbelievable find, and I’ll definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Elova is just outside the villages, but close enough to walk to Zatouna or drive to Dimitsana in about eight minutes. I’ve stayed inside Dimitsana more than six times and prefer Elova. It’s quiet and comfortable, with private parking, a big advantage when parking in or near the popular villages is difficult. My room and the breakfast room both had good mountain views, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast included homemade items. The bath was quite small. I was traveling alone, arrived midweek as the only guest, and don’t speak Greek. There was an internet problem in the area, so I needed to contact the daughter in Athens by phone and messages to try to understand and solve it. The next morning, the owners tried to help and found a temporary solution. It was stressful for me, but they really were trying to sort it out. Thunderstorms meant I only stayed two nights and couldn’t explore more of the area or Zatouna. Ask them for advice on dining, driving and walking, they’re very helpful. I’ll stay again on my next visit.
