Vanessa was a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming even in the chilly mountain air. We spent four nights in beautiful Dimitsana, and staying at Proselinos was a highlight. The restored old building has loads of charm and character alongside modern amenities. Our room was lovely, comfortable and quiet, and felt like home right away. Possibly the best bed I've ever slept in. Five stars.

We had a lovely stay at Proselinos Guesthouses in Dimitsana. Mrs Mairy was brilliant, and the service was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Our room was charming, clean and comfortable, with a cozy traditional feel. We were surprised at first that there was no television, but it suited the relaxing, old time atmosphere and helped us disconnect. It was a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the area, and we'd definitely recommend it.

We were really let down by both the room and the service. There were no windows, and it was split across two levels, which hadn’t been mentioned when we booked. When we asked for sheets for the sofa downstairs so we wouldn’t have to go down to the bathroom at night, we were told it would cost extra and that nothing could be done. Shameful.

We keep returning, which probably says enough. It’s cozy, fairly priced, and the staff treat you with kindness and respect. They’re happy to help with whatever you need, and our stays have always been smooth and comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was very good even with the electricity out in the morning. The owner fixed the radiator when it wasn’t working, but there were no candles or flashlights available during the power cut. The room, especially the bathroom, was small, and the English name is printed on a tiny sign by the front door, so the place can be hard to find.
