We only had a short stay in Dion, but this lovely little apartment worked perfectly for my family. Costas was a fantastic host and shared plenty of tips about the region, including what to see and where to eat. The area was gorgeous, and we loved the charming place. Wish we'd planned to stay longer.

The breakfast was generous and lovely, with pastries, spreads, eggs, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, granola, and fresh orange juice made by the very kind hostess. We also found the room spotless, the bed really comfortable, and the private yard handy for dogs or kids. Malathro was peaceful and picturesque, and the common room had books and games. Before we arrived, reception replied to my questions quickly. We cooked for ourselves in the kitchen, though the only appliances were a stovetop and a panini press, so meals need to suit those. We still had a tasty dinner by the fireplace, which was ready to light when we got there, with the first couple of logs included. The couch made it extra cozy. Such a dreamy stay, and I fully intend to come back.

We brought our small children, and they had a great space to play in the garden. The owners were so hospitable and helpful, with more than enough ideas to fill a long weekend. The location worked perfectly for us, with great hikes nearby and beaches about 15 minutes away. Definitely recommend!

Malathro - Olympus Guest House sits in peaceful surroundings at the foot of Olympus mountain, a calm escape from everyday bustle. It was newly opened and exceeded all our expectations, with spotless rooms, great amenities, and attentive service. We were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived, and the whole stay felt wonderfully relaxing. Highly recommend it if you're after a quiet break surrounded by nature.

The host was especially attentive and gave us personal suggestions for hikes, swimming spots, and places to eat. We stayed at this cozy hotel in the quaint village of Dion, near Mount Olympus. It had opened just a year ago, and the rooms felt comfortable and stylish, with modern design and amenities. Breakfasts were excellent, too. There are beautiful waterfalls in the area, with clear water that's lovely for a dip on a hot day. The seacoast and the tourist town of Litochoro are only a 10-minute drive away. If you like peaceful places, natural beauty, and an authentic experience away from the crowds, I highly recommend it.
