Ontas Guesthouse

The room’s chalet look and fireplace were my favorite parts, and it was roomy, cozy, and full of character. Breakfast was nicely prepared and enjoyable too. The owners greeted us as soon as we parked and helped with our bags. We were impressed from the moment they showed us in. Highly recommended!

Ontas has the homey feel I was after, with homemade pitas and pastries at breakfast and eggs cooked the way you ask for them. It’s centrally located and has parking too, along with much more.

After a day on the slopes, Ontas was a peaceful place to unwind, even though it’s close to everything. We stayed there in December after a local friend recommended it, and Mrs. Anna was wonderful. She took care of every request, from an extra bed to special breakfast items. I’d gladly recommend her to my friends and family.

Ontas Guesthouse is only a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk from the center of Arachova. It was easily the best stay we’ve had on our travels, and we’re already hoping to return on our next trip there. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. The rooms were clean, warm, and spacious, with all the essentials, and we could adjust the heating to suit ourselves. The rooms under the roof also have fireplaces you can light and tend yourself. For the price, it was great value. Mrs Anna made us feel at home from the start. She showed us the available rooms and welcomed us with a jar of Tsipouro. She was incredibly attentive and hospitable, the best hostess we’ve met. The furnishings were warm and tasteful, making the place cozy whether you’re staying a night or longer.
