I totally recommend Iliovasilema Studios. It's a lovely place for sunset views, and the restaurant is great too. The people and staff are nice, and it's very clean, close to both the village and the beach. Some rooms have a great sea view. The owner picks you up at the port when you arrive and takes you back when you leave. I return every time I visit Donousa, as many guests do.

The owners are extremely kind and ready to help, and they dealt with our requests right away. The rooms were very clean. The location is handy, next to one of the island's best restaurants as well as a supermarket, bakery, and other places of interest. Definitely recommended!

There are lots of different rooms here, which may explain why reviews vary. We were very happy with ours, a top-floor room with a kitchen, and it was much more comfortable than the online photos suggested. The view was a bit disappointing, but at this price you can't have everything. We'll definitely come back.

The rooms are decent for the price, depending on which one you get. G2 is the best. There's a small kitchenette and soap, and the beach is a short walk away. They may take out the trash and sweep each day, but towels and sheets are changed only once a week, twice if you're lucky. Most bathroom doors don't lock, and without a shower curtain the shower can flood the whole bathroom. I'd have preferred fresh towels every other day or so.

The harbor and town looked lovely from our room, and we enjoyed staying at Iliovasilema Studios. We’ve spent a few summer holidays there with the family, and each visit has been a pleasure. Highly recommend it.
