The location is ideal for a stay on the island, central yet quiet, and you can walk everywhere. We had a great view of the marina, a very nice breakfast, and everything was clean. There’s also a terrace you won’t want to leave. Mr Andreas, the owner, was the best part.

We arranged the booking by phone and asked for a room for four, so we were surprised when we arrived to find one large bed and a smaller bed that was 1.20 m wide. That might work for parents with little kids, but not for us with teenagers. We also saw that Booking.com lists the room for three people. The owner insisted it was big enough and didn’t seem interested in finding a solution, saying the hotel had no room with larger beds. Trizonia Island was wonderful overall, but sleeping cramped left us disappointed. If you’re fewer than four or have small children, this hotel may suit you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

The marina is close by, and Drymna hotel has laundry and showers, which worked really well for sailors. The people there are lovely, and the food, ice cream, and sweets are tasty. It's one of the best spots on the island. Greece has so many beautiful places, but this island stood out to me for being lovely and peaceful, without much noise. I'd recommend it to anyone!
