Peggy's Place, Traditional Cycladic House in Drios

The accessibility here was especially good. If you use a wheelchair, this is a great option, and the best accessible place I’ve stayed in across Europe. It’s also a short walk to the beach, with a coffee shop, restaurants, and a neighborhood grocery store just around the corner. The owners made everything feel personal. They contacted us the day before and arranged a car from the port, and the drive over was quick and lovely. Our room was very clean, with fresh fruit and water waiting in the fridge. The owners were wonderful, and the whole visit really stood out to me as someone who travels often. It felt like the kind of care you’d expect at a very expensive New York hotel. This could sound like an ad, but after being treated so well, it’s the least we can do. We can’t wait to come back.

The sea view was incredible, and the suite was very clean. Maria and her mom were lovely hosts. It seems perfect for a summer break. Go for it, you’ll love it.

Maria was a fantastic host and helped with taxis, suggestions, and whatever else we needed to know. The apartment had a lovely view across the sea, and the beach, grocery store, and restaurants were all an easy walk away. I’d recommend it to anyone coming to Paros.

We booked three days in Paros, then stayed for five, partly because we liked our place so much. The apartment was spacious, modern, clean, and just as it looked in the photos, with all the amenities we needed. From the house in Dryos Village on the north of Paros, we had a wonderful sea view, and the village had lots of greenery and lovely spots. Maria and Sissy were exceptional hosts.
