Almira Mare

We had a great holiday with the kids. The beach was amazing, and having both it and the pool close by was really convenient. There are two or three taverns near the hotel, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We went to the hotel hoping to use the pool and café while visiting a family member who had just had surgery. We politely asked whether we could park in the lot for that. The man at the parking area was shockingly rude and completely uncooperative. It was unnecessary and unprofessional, especially in the circumstances. The visit left a very bad impression, and we won't return or recommend the place.

I spent three weeks here in the off season, when there weren't many other visitors, and I'll definitely come back. It's a lovely little place tucked away from the bustle of Chalkida and Athens. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help. Georgia, the hotel manager, was a real highlight. I enjoyed our morning chats over breakfast, and she was a pleasure to meet.

The staff made this stay especially memorable. Everyone was so friendly, and Georgia deserves a special mention for being caring, helpful, and there for me from the start to the end. She went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed and was happy. Thank you for all of it. I stayed at Almira Mare last August and loved the gorgeous view from my room. It was very clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast had lots of delicious options, and the hotel restaurant and beach bar both look out over the ocean. The pool looked lovely too, though we swam every day at the ocean, less than a minute's walk away.
