We were welcomed at the nearby taverna around 20:45, even though the kitchen was due to close at 21:00. The staff and chef were friendly. The accommodation itself has a charming, clean, cozy feel, with rooms that have an authentic mountain hut character. We stayed as a group and were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast and the dining room are so inviting you could spend hours there, and the owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s a little off the road, but definitely worth staying.

The breakfast changed daily and had fresh, locally sourced choices, and the resort is well placed for trips to nearby villages or 3-5 Pigadia ski center. We loved the quiet mountain setting and its beautiful views. Our room was stylish, clean, and had thoughtful details. The owners’ hospitality felt like visiting old friends. Lydia Lithos Mountain Resort went beyond what we expected, and we can’t wait to come back.

The meals were delicious, with fresh local ingredients, and owner Lydia was attentive and quick to help whenever I needed something. My room combined rustic style with modern comfort, and waking up to the mountains outside was wonderful. The whole place has a cozy, luxurious feel, with breathtaking views from the moment I arrived. It felt like stepping into a dream. Great for a quiet break, time outdoors, or an adventure. I’ll definitely be back next winter!! 🫡

The children enjoyed it as much as we did, especially the warm, comfortable beds and the thoughtful decor. We had a relaxing family stay that felt like being at home. Lydia’s love of wholesome natural food came through in the homemade breakfast made with high quality local produce, including her famous nettle pie. The fairy tale setting had a crackling open fire and Milou and Oliver nearby, with snow falling softly outside. Lovely place, lovely owners, and somewhere to recharge in any season.
