Berdoussis Hotel

The shared terrace on the top floor has the best view. The property is new, clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast had a very good range. The owner was friendly, and there’s good parking under olive trees. Our room and bathroom were both tiny, though, and the room had a very small window. It’s a good hotel, even if not amazing. Since choices on the island are limited, I’d probably come back, especially for the great beach 🤩.

The staff were friendly, and during our three-day stay the room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was enough for us. The bathroom could use some updating, as the toilet paper holder was rusty.

Giannis, the Hotel Manager, went out of his way to look after us during our week in mid-September. He catered to our needs and made us feel even more at home than at home. The rooms were beautiful, nicely furnished and very clean, and the beds were comfortable. This was our third stay at Hotel Berdoussis, and we’ll definitely return. We think it deserves far more than 2 stars, and it was much better than some 4-star hotels we’ve stayed in around Europe. Elafonissos is a must if you want peace and quiet, picturesque scenery and sandy beaches stretching into a turquoise sea. Thank you again, Giannis! 10/10, we’ll go again! L & Family

We stayed for two nights. The first day and night were perfect: the staff were kind, and everything was as promised. The second night was a nightmare. Our new neighbors were loud until 1am, and when I asked them to quiet down, they threatened to beat me. No one from the hotel was there to deal with it. When I called, they said they would speak to them. I was awake until 4 am, though the owner told me the next morning that he had asked them to be quiet. I have to say Mr. Berdoussis and his staff stayed calm and kind, and he agreed not to charge me for the second night. Without what happened, I’d have rated the stay at least 4.
