Breakfast was delicious, everything fresh, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were sparkling clean, with large bathrooms that have proper windows, and new air conditioners. The property is huge, with spacious rooms and big balconies overlooking the sea. Christos is an excellent host, always there and ready to help. Best accommodation in Elafonisos.

The room gets direct sun all day and was unbearably hot, almost like a sauna. I asked Christos for a second key card so we could leave the AC running while out. He refused at first, saying he was concerned about the electricity bill, then gave it to me after I insisted. In the days that followed, we felt very unwelcome, probably because of this. The key ring had even been welded to stop guests leaving the card in the slot to keep the AC on. For what we paid, I expected much better comfort and service. We were there for 15 days at £116 a night, and the stay was disappointing. The bed was broken when we arrived. Christos said the previous guest had broken it and it would be replaced in the coming days, but it was never fixed during our stay. We’d paid half the total in advance back in January and never got a receipt. That lack of transparency concerned me, especially since we booked directly with the host to help him avoid booking platform fees. The WiFi was super pooooor, and the local mobile signal was poor too, so staying connected was difficult. The rooms also weren’t soundproof. Breakfast was repetitive and uninspired, with scrambled or fried eggs every day for two weeks. Waffles were advertised, but the machine was broken from day one and never repaired. I was disappointed that the amenities and service didn’t match the premium price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

The cleanliness really impressed me. Not just our room, but the breakfast terrace, garden and whole building were clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff were all kind and well trained, too. Christos made us feel comfortable and relaxed. He was friendly and helpful, like a friend having us over, and there were plenty of options for cleaning, beach towels, drinks and food. The experience was above expectations. I’d strongly recommend staying here and would definitely return. I’d give more than five stars if I could. Mario & Tamara

Christos and the staff were fantastic, the room was great, clean and comfortable, and the location was great too. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent all around, thank you Christos! I’ll come again.
