We found this place while looking for a room near Elia beach, and ended up discovering a real oasis. My husband and I loved the sunset views, the beautifully decorated rooms and the relaxing feel. Dionisis is at the heart of the experience. He responds quickly and cheerfully to your questions, concerns and needs. The location gives you beach calm and village life, away from loud tourists. Little Venice and the city centre are quite far, but Dionisis is happy to book a taxi. I’d choose this place again a million times.

Car hire is a good idea here because of the location. We paid €90 per day with insurance, which felt worth it, but the roads are pretty crazy and you need to be a confident driver. Dionisis met us when we arrived and was an incredible host, a perfect fit for the hotel. The views, rooms and location were all great. If you’re after a private break without children, we’re parents ourselves, this place is hard to beat. The accommodation was amazing, and you won’t be disappointed.

Maregold Mykonos is a 5-star boutique hotel in a quiet spot near the beach, with Mykonos attractions within easy reach. Its elegant rooms and suites have the amenities for a comfortable luxury stay, and each has a private balcony or terrace overlooking either the Aegean Sea or the lush gardens. The staff are friendly and ready to help, and the hotel has two gourmet restaurants plus a pool bar with a range of flavors and cocktails. There’s also a lovely pool and a spa with treatments for relaxing and unwinding. From arrival, the atmosphere felt welcoming and warm. For a luxurious, restful trip with family, as a couple, or with friends, Maregold Mykonos can make for an unforgettable stay. Book early if you’re coming in peak season. 5/5 stars.

Maria and Sofia made our time on the island even better. They’re kind, polite and service-minded, always available for questions and glad to help with recommendations. We enjoyed every moment, especially thanks to them. The hotel is close to Elia beach, a perfect beach away from the noise of Mykonos. The rooms are clean with amazing views, and breakfast is great and classic. Best experience we’ve ever had!

You’ll need a vehicle or bike to get around from here. It’s about 20 minutes to town and at most 25-30 minutes to the best beaches. If you’re not hopping between beaches like we do, there’s also a great one less than five minutes away. Maregold feels like a gorgeous room in a very luxurious private villa, with the best concierge service. Dionisis, the hotel owner, made our stay better with his recommendations, help and many thoughtful gestures. He was simply the best. Book without hesitation and enjoy this little heaven in Mykonos. I’d definitely stay here again if I return. 10/10.
