We had a lovely stay in May. The house stayed cool all day, and every room was comfortable. The gardens were beautiful, with great views and plenty of places to sit and relax; the pool got the best of the sun. The nearby village has a lovely bakery, a small supermarket and several authentic Greek restaurants, all of a high standard. Heraklion and Knossos Palace are easy day trips. The owners’ son gave us a warm welcome, and the house and gardens were tidied during the week, with the linens changed halfway through. We had a fantastic holiday.

We loved the morning walk to the local coffee shop and bakery. The villa’s in a fantastic spot, with unbeatable views and amazing villages just 10 minutes from the coast.

A really lovely, spacious villa for a family, with shops and cafes not too far away. It only caters for basic essentials, though, and you’re quite a distance from the tourist sites and the beach.

The beds were the one downside for us. They weren’t very comfortable and could cause tension. Still, we had a pleasant stay in this clean, beautiful property in Episkopi, and would book again. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They cleaned the pool daily and changed the linens, including the bed linen, every three days. There’s a large fridge, microwave, stove and oven, plus basic kitchen utensils. Two bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning, and there’s plenty of storage for clothes. Check-in was easy, and we got a welcome gift.

We’ve just got back to Germany, but we’re still enchanted by our Crete holiday. There was enough room for all five of us, and we had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful, and we used the well-kept, clean pool every day. A wonderful place we’d recommend anytime. Thank you!
