Sun Rise Hotel Studios & Apartments

The location is great and very quiet, and the price was good. We visited off-season, so the pool wasn’t operating. The team was very welcoming, the shower had plenty of hot water, and that part was nice. The mattress was much too firm for us, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. I’d also suggest improving the room lights, which were weak and an unpleasant white color. If those issues were fixed, I’d be happy to recommend the place.

There’s a lot to do here, including a great pool with a separate area for kids, plus tennis and basketball courts. It’s a family hotel with a range of room and apartment options. Rooms are cleaned and towels and sheets changed daily, so hygiene is excellent. They also often have social events, like children’s theatre or shows.

Just back from our trip to Greece, and we were so happy with our stay at the sunrise hotel. The gardens are beautifully kept, and everything, including the rooms and grounds, was spotless. Best of all, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. It really is a hidden gem, and I’d highly recommend it.

Both rooms had terraces, one looking over the pool and the other over the garden, and the pool itself was great with a lifeguard on duty. The apartment was spacious, but the bathroom was tiny, so water got everywhere when we showered. The shower curtain was extremely dirty, so we chose not to use it. The kitchen furniture looked old and smelled, and should be replaced. There were lots of kids around, so the hotel wasn't quiet. A couple of nights there was loud noise outside, possibly from AC systems or a generator, and we had to keep the terrace door shut.
