Avrofilito Syros Houses

Maria was a huge help with anything we needed to make the holiday go well. The stone houses have an incredible view, and the infinity pool is a lovely extra. The place was spotless too. We’ve stayed in lots of places around Greece, and this is one of our favourites. I’d definitely recommend it for a trip to Syros.

The houses were nice and had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the pool. We came for a long weekend with a big group of friends and had a great time. It’s also close to the city center, so the location worked well. I’d recommend the place for families or groups of friends.

We found the Villa quiet and relaxing, up on a hill surrounded by nature, with an amazing view. It was only 5 mins by car to the centre. Inside, it felt like a proper home, with new furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, Landry machine, spacious bathroom, and cooling heating system. Cleaning came every 2 days, and the concierge was reachable anytime on WhatsApp. It would work well for a week, a month, or even a season.

We tried this place twice during the last week and had some fantastic dinners. Sitting at the back, you can't hear the road, and it suits couples, whether young or old, as well as families with children. The service was good, with kind, quick staff, the food was good, and the prices fair. It was also well visited compared with so many other restaurants in the area. The Tzatziki was the best I've had in many, many years, full and tasty, with plenty of garlic, just how Tzatziki should be in Greek territories. They even brought out lovely tiramisu and local ice for dessert on the house, plus a bottle of Raki. What great service. As someone who's travelled a lot, this restaurant was a real eye opener and game changer for me. A place to remember if you like tender meet and Tzatziki.
