We landed on a late ferry and were leaving early the next morning, so Ostria's location about 100m from the ferry terminal was ideal. Elizabeth was an exceptionally helpful host, and the large, comfortable room suited exactly what we needed. We also took her recommendation for a nearby taverna just up the road. It was good value, with amazing food and friendly people. Ostria felt authentic and welcoming, and we'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

The port is right nearby, which is very convenient if you're traveling without a car. Our room was spacious and clean, with a small kitchenette, and the staff were kind and helpful, though they spoke little English. There isn't an elevator, so we had to carry all our luggage upstairs. Reception is usually staffed only in the morning, and sometimes no one was there even then. That happened at checkout: we had a ferry to catch, so we left the key. Afterwards there was a problem over payment for the room.

Only about a 2 minute walk from the port. The room had air conditioning, a kitchenette, and a bathroom, and it was a very nice place to stay.

The staff were friendly, but the room was just average and overpriced. It was noisy beside the bus station, fire station, gas station, and garbage containers. The linens and pillows need replacing.
