In Exochi, near Papanikolaou hospital, this is a modern, well-maintained place with good value rooms. You don’t have to give up comforts that many central downtown hotels lack, like up-to-date tech, decent internet that doesn’t lag in a crowd, or a TV larger than, say, 14 inches. Prices are much lower than the €50-60 a downtown place might charge for two people per day.

The mattress was perfect, but nearly everything else was a disaster. There wasn’t even a shower head, and trying to shower meant squeezing between the sink and the toilet wall. When I asked about getting air conditioning control for the hours without heating, the owner was generally rude and wanted an extra charge.

The owners are friendly, helpful and dependable. For the price and what they provide, this place is just right!
