The garden at Allmos feels like a private little oasis, especially against the dry landscape around Kalamaki. It’s peaceful and beautifully kept, and the beach is only about a minute from the bed. Our family-owned holiday home had roomy maisonette apartments that worked well for both cooking and relaxing. Theo was incredibly welcoming and practical, and seemed to have an answer for every question. We’d love to come back soon.

The cleaner came every other day and even tidied our clothes each time, which was such a nice touch. The service was good, and the place is close to the beach. If you’re visiting Crete, I’d recommend staying here.

Theo made us feel very welcome, and the apartment was clean, well equipped, and just right. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The beach nearby was lovely and much quieter than some other spots, with restaurants along the promenade and Kalamaki close by for a stroll. The complex is gated and well looked after, with parking and a private outdoor shower. The apartments are simple but have what you need, though the beds could be more comfortable. We had a couple of issues, but the host and friendly staff sorted them out quickly. They also responded promptly when we asked for things like an electric grill.

We barely needed to cook, with so many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is quiet, spacious, and very clean, with a sheltered garden and parking on the property. It’s in the second row from the sandy beach, about a 100-meter walk to the sea. Theo was especially attentive, and the air conditioning handled the summer heat very well.
