Fantastic Hotel 2

Hotel Fantastic felt like a place to connect and unwind, with a real sense of family and Cretan warmth. Grandma’s gentle smile and graceful presence brought a lot of comfort, and Grandpa Thodoris was always ready to help, chat or offer advice about the area. Natasa and Doria were full of energy and kindness, always smiling and making a real effort to help guests feel at home. The rooms were clean, cozy and well cared for, with lovely views and a peaceful Matala feel. This was much more than just somewhere to sleep. Staying there was a warm experience we won’t forget. If you’re visiting Matala, stay here. We’d give it ten stars if we could.

A lovely, clean and quiet place run by a very friendly family. The price felt fair even though we booked at the last minute. I’d visit again!!!

We came across the place while looking for somewhere to stay that night. The host came out to greet us, showed us a room, and made us a delicious coffee. The room had everything we needed, was very clean, and even had a sweet little balcony with a nice view. When we left, the hosts sent us off with cake and hugs. They were so generous and kind, and my husband and I had a great time. We’ll definitely come back on our next trip.

Doria was a wonderful host, and we had a great stay at fantastic hotel. It’s under a five-minute walk to the beach and close to several restaurants. There’s private parking and the room was nice. I’ll definitely return!
