Hello, I’m writing from abroad to ask for help with an injured kitten in Matala. Until yesterday I was feeding a stray near Villa Kavanoss, and it now seems to have badly injured both back legs. It hasn’t eaten for over 24 hours. I’ve contacted rescue groups, but nobody is nearby. If you know a volunteer, animal rescuer or local person who could check on the kitten and perhaps bring it to you, please let me know. I can share the exact location on Google Maps, along with photos and video. Thank you so much in advance.

Such a nice, quiet place. I haven’t found another one like it. The hospitality and customer service were excellent, and I’m planning to come back next year.

It’s a lovely, peaceful spot away from the busy village centre, with a really familiar, true-Greece kind of atmosphere. The main beach in the centre is an easy 10-minute walk, and the wild comobeach takes about 25 minutes on foot. They also have very good deals on car and motorbike rentals, with the lowest prices!

We were only there for one night because everything else was booked, but if we return to Matala, we’ll definitely stay here again. The owner was welcoming and really friendly. The room was fine and had everything we needed, and the beach in Matala is just a 10-minute walk away. It was the best place we stayed in Matala!

The place was very clean and quiet, with friendly staff who even left little breakfast snacks. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach and good value for the price. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay in Matala.
