The dining room has an amazing sea view, and the service was good. Lunch and dinner were very good, made with quality ingredients and changed daily. Breakfast was hearty but the same each day. The hotel is older, though the rooms have been renovated, and soundproofing is poor. It's about 150 meters from Matala's beautiful public beach. We had a week's all-inclusive stay; the drinks selection and quality were average, with good service. Many of the guests were older people from France. Overall, it was a nice holiday at a family hotel.

The rooms were small, which made the setup pretty bad for three people, and that was the one letdown. Otherwise, I loved the place. The staff were very kind, the food was tasty, and everywhere was clean. One of the island's best beaches is literally around the corner. See you later, Janis 😁

Breakfast was a highlight, with loads of hot and cold choices, including English, continental, and Greek options. The breakfast room looks out over the sea, which I loved. The staff were very friendly and fixed our air conditioning problem right away. The hotel has two swimming pools, though the sea is only 200 meters away. The rooms were okay, with a wide bedroom, but the mattress was a little hard for me. The bathroom is small, and there's no protection from splashes, so the floor gets wet. Water pressure was good, but the hose went everywhere.

Up to 300 euros per person for a week seems okay for the value. At a higher price, I'd choose a different hotel or destination. The all-inclusive offer isn't really all-inclusive, since drinks and coffee cost extra. We had already paid through travel agency Čedok for the final day's dinner, but they still tried to charge us another 20 euros. Beach sunbeds cost 10 euros a day, and there's another 35 euros in tax per room.

The layout was lovely, with a few smaller buildings rather than one huge block, and amazing gardens, shaded spots to relax, and two clean pools between them. The staff were always smiling and very friendly. For a 3-star hotel, it was much better than expected. The food was excellent and freshly prepared, with different meals each time and at least 20 options to choose from. Thank you, hotel Fragiskos, for a beautiful vacation.
