Andreas was friendly and gave us helpful suggestions for good coffee nearby. We also appreciated getting bottles of water when we arrived, and he let us do laundry, even giving us a pod since we didn’t have one. I’d have liked a shower curtain or a holder for the showerhead, but that’s just a little extra comfort I personally enjoy.
The village is beautiful, and the owner is a really nice, helpful guy. There are tavernas where you can get a good meal and wine.
There are tavernas, a pharmacy and shops close by, and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The host was lovely and happy to share advice and talk about the area. We stayed just one night at the end of our holiday and wished we’d booked longer. It’s a good spot to relax away from the crowds.
Set at the end of a quiet street, this is a peaceful place to unwind with cicadas singing nearby. The ancient Greek village is beautiful, with a taverna serving Cretan food close by and several bars and cafes around. It’s also a great base for exploring southern Crete.
We stopped in a lovely village with taverns, bakeries, and shops all around. The place has a calm, atmospheric feel and mountain views, and the meze, the complimentary snack, was probably the best in the area. I’d happily recommend it.
