Villa Froudi

We were delighted by the pool, which was pristine and looked out over the surrounding landscape. The Cretan sun made it a perfect place to unwind. The villa sits among olive trees in peaceful countryside between Kissamos and Falassarna, a short drive from beautiful beaches and charming villages. Around the property, olive groves and vineyards stretch into the distance, and we enjoyed exploring the area and sampling local produce. The weather in October was also perfect, with sunny days and pleasant evenings. From the moment we arrived, the villa’s high standard and thoughtful details stood out. The owner, Theodoros, and his family were friendly, accommodating, and made sure we were comfortable. Every part of our stay was lovely, and we left with wonderful memories and a real wish to come back to Crete.

You’ll want a car to explore the exotic beaches. This new villa has all the facilities you need and is a great choice for a relaxing break, whether you’re a couple or a family. Highly recommended!

A lovely, quiet spot surrounded by nature. The family provided perfect service and kept everything clean. A good place for a vacation.

We spent five nights at Villa Fraudy at the end of May and start of June, and it was even better than we expected. The pool quickly became one of our favorite things, and the villa and outdoor area were lovely. Everything was spotless when we arrived, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, two great bathrooms, and plenty for a comfortable stay. It’s very well cared for. Though private and peaceful, it isn’t isolated. There are neighboring houses, and a charming village with great restaurants is nearby. The area felt calmer than some of Crete’s busier spots. The hosts were friendly and easygoing, communication was effortless, and we felt safe and at home right away. Balos Beach is about a 30-minute drive. A few goats next door were a charming touch, especially for families with kids. We were there as a couple and found it perfect, though it would work just as well for a family. The place is clearly cared for with love and attention. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it without hesitation.
