Faliraki Premium Hotel

We had a wonderful stay, and I want to thank everyone at the hotel. The staff were always ready to help and answer our questions, and the breakfasts were delicious. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh sheets and towels, and had everything we needed for a shower. My friend and I had read some negative reviews before our holiday, but after arriving we felt they came from jealous or unkind people, or people dissatisfied with life. We felt very comfortable there. Special thanks to Irena for being attentive and always smiling. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Irene at reception was kind and helpful, and her manner made me feel better after a rough start. The hotel is well located, with good rooms and breakfast. Without the problem at the beginning, I'd definitely recommend it, especially to solo travelers or couples. I had booked a balcony room for four nights and was charged when I arrived. I was then told there was a problem with the upstairs rooms, that it would be fixed two days later, and that I would be moved then. For the first two nights they put me on the ground floor in a room that felt a bit like a staff room, since a staff member stayed next door. Still, the room was quite OK and matched the advertised description. That evening, I saw guests checking in upstairs, so I guess they were overbooked and gave me an alternative room for two nights. After the move, I got a room with a very nice balcony view. That second room was clean, nicely decorated, and spacious enough for one person. Breakfast had a good variety and was enough for the morning. The woman serving it wasn't very smiley, but she was kind when asked for anything extra. When I asked for more eggs, she brought them right away.

The room was fine, and we especially liked having the terrace. For a Deluxe Room, though, complimentary bottled water and maybe a kettle would have been welcome. What really made our stay was Irena. She was so kind and helpful, a sweet and friendly person who made us enjoy being there even more. People like her are rare. Irena, we love you and already miss your positive energy 🤍

The reception staff were polite, and the room itself was good, but the problems we had never got sorted out. There was no hot water in my room for two days. Even getting basic things like towels was very difficult. I kept being given excuses, and only after pushing a lot would I get what I needed, while my stay was ticking away. A nice room doesn't make up for missing essential services. I found the whole experience very disappointing.
