The location was handy, with the beach and centre close by, but we had no WiFi at all during our five-day stay. The owner said it would be fixed and then stopped replying to our messages. We had the lower room with the sitting area shown in the picture, but its bench cushion was dirty, so we used the chairs instead. The bed was uncomfortable, and the street noise was very loud through the thin walls, especially at night when cars passed. If you plan to cook, note that basics like salt and oil aren’t provided. The owner did give us salt, which was okay. Maybe the balcony rooms get better WiFi and we were just unlucky, but we paid for WiFi and didn’t get the service. I don’t know how someone who depends on it while travelling would manage without data.

I wanted a peaceful break after coming from a noisy city, but the busy village and loud street meant I couldn’t get the quiet sleep I wanted, so I left that same day. The balcony faced the traffic and had a bad view, and the air conditioning was loud and ran constantly, making it hard to sit outside beside it. The building itself was old and in poor shape, though the room was beautiful. It was just a studio with a noisy balcony, too expensive for a place where you have to cook for yourself each day. The breakfast restaurant wasn’t here. The pictures showed a luxurious place they run nearby, which convinced me briefly, but I already have a fancy room at home. I was disappointed. I’m thankful I was able to cancel, but I wanted to be accurate in my review. If you don’t mind the surroundings and just want a nice room, this place may suit you, but the outside doesn’t match.

Having Village Taste right across the road was handy for fresh, cheap souvlaki, and we were happy making ham and cheese toasties for late-night snacks. We didn’t need to cook big dinners with so many good places to eat nearby. The studio was clean, everything worked, and there was even a TV that hadn’t been mentioned in the booking. We stayed in a ground-floor studio for six nights with my partner, and it turned out to be a great choice. Stergos was really welcoming and showed us how everything worked. He also shared Faliraki recommendations with us on WhatsApp. It’s close to everything and made getting around easy. We had an amazing stay, would recommend it completely, and will be back.
