The staff were wonderful, and the Piazza food court was a great addition. There was plenty to choose from at the main buffet, though I would have liked more fruit at breakfast. I also found the walk to Faliraki easy, and there’s a regular hotel shuttle if you want it. We started in a standard room and got upgraded halfway through the stay, which was a lovely surprise. The first room was okay, but music from the pool played from morning until 11pm and made it hard to relax. The new room was blissfully quiet. Most of the pools felt chilly, though the smaller Marrakech pool was a decent temperature. A few small things could be improved, but I’d happily come back.

The staff were friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy chatting with guests. They never made us feel like a burden, which made the holiday more fun. We stayed with my daughter at the beginning of October, and the atmosphere was lovely, with beautiful views. There was a good range of all-inclusive drinks to suit most people. The food was adequate, though the desserts didn’t have much variety. I’d recommend the hotel for an affordable stay in Rhodes.

Dear Venezia Resort Team, Our stay this week was deeply disappointing. The food was so bad that we spent most days eating outside the hotel, despite having paid for all-inclusive. When we finally tried to use the pool with the other students, just playing with a ball without causing damage or disruption, security was called and we were told to stop immediately. That was the only time we used the pool, so it felt unnecessary and unpleasant. We paid for eight rooms but were given only six when we arrived, and had to sort out the situation ourselves. Because of the hotel’s mistake, one person ended up sleeping on a mattress on the floor. We also had repeated water cuts, including one whole day with no water in our room. Throughout the stay we were made to shower in cold water, which is unacceptable given the high price of this trip. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. When I called reception from our room to report problems, nobody answered. On the second day the room was freezing, and I called several times asking for help. After a long wait, someone finally came and confirmed the air-conditioning remote didn’t work because its batteries were dead. We had been left cold for hours. The service, organization and care for guests were far below what we expected for the amount we paid. We expect this complaint to be taken seriously. Sincerely, Safae

We spent two brilliant weeks at Venezia. There was loads of choice and the food was amazing, and the all-inclusive drinks were lovely too. The different pools and areas worked well when it got busy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the entertainment was brilliant. Credit to Nino, Rio and the whole team. We had such a good time and will visit again. Thanks, everyone.
