The a la carte meals were the highlight for us: delicious, generous portions, and no extra charge, though we had to plan ahead. We chose them each day. Mexican brunch was my favourite, easily 5-star. The all-inclusive buffet was just okay, and the evening facilities were good with decent drinks. Our room had recently been updated, so it felt modern, spotless, and spacious, with mirrors helping it feel bigger. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a sea-view room that could fit three. It was cleaned daily to a high standard, and came with the usual robes and slippers. Everyone we met, from reception and the bars to housekeeping and management, was welcoming and friendly. Special praise for the a la carte manager, who was amazing about squeezing us in. The service was phenomenal. The hotel feels modern in almost every area. This was our first Mitsis, and we’ll definitely stay again.

The staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and the service stayed attentive and professional throughout. Mitsis Faliraki was beyond what we expected. Our room was spacious and spotless, with lovely views, and housekeeping paid close attention to the details. We enjoyed the food a lot, especially the themed restaurants, which served international dishes as well as Greek cuisine. There were different options each day. The pool and beach were immaculate, with plenty of comfortable loungers. We could relax by the water or find entertainment, so the atmosphere was both lively and restful. The hotel’s design mixes comfort with luxury, and what stood out most was the genuine care for guests. We made lasting memories here and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for a stay in Rhodes.

The gym and sports facilities were the best part for me: clean, spacious, and fitted with up-to-date machines. The poolside area and beach access were adequate, with plenty of sunbeds and towels. I wouldn’t recommend Mitsis Faliraki if you expect a 5-star stay. It’s advertised as 5-star, but felt closer to 3-star, especially compared with Mitsis Alilia, which is also 5-star and clearly better in standards and quality. Our room was small and dated, not cleaned properly, and the ceiling panels were coming away from the wall. Food was my biggest concern. The buffet had lots of choices, but some dishes seemed to be leftovers from the previous night. A few people in our group, and other guests we spoke to, got food poisoning, mostly after eating at the Italian Al la carte restaurant. The hotel seemed to say it was a virus going around the island, a claim they had reportedly made for over a year in past reviews. Based on how some food looked, I believe it was food poisoning caused by poor food handling and hygiene. The food quality needs immediate attention.

We left Welling Spa feeling relaxed, refreshed, and glowing, and we’re hoping to go back for more treatments and try the thermal experience before we leave. My husband and I are on our honeymoon, and we booked the Aegean Bliss Body Wrap at the spa inside Mitsis Faliraki. Eleftheria and Chrysa were wonderful therapists. Their touch was just right, and they made us feel cared for the whole time. The spa is calm, clean, and beautifully designed, with a peaceful feel from the moment we arrived. We were also surprised with a complimentary express facial for our honeymoon. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel special and appreciated. Thanks to the whole team for making this part of our honeymoon so lovely.
