Vickys Studios Faliraki

It’s a lovely spot on the outskirts of Faliraki, but only a ten-minute walk from the centre. The staff were lovely, and for the price the rooms and facilities are very good. There’s a nice pool and restaurant area, plus a little kitchen in the room that we hadn’t expected. It was useful having a fridge and freezer, and the balcony was another welcome surprise. Right outside Vickys, close to A Star rent a car, where mopeds and cars are cheap to rent.

A quiet neighbourhood, with a market and the beach about 500 m away. Tavernas and bars are around 200-500 m away. The main attraction is the pool, which had enough sunbeds for everyone. There’s a drink bar beside it, and you can also have dinner there. There are 13 studios with the basic things you need, though a pan is missing. Garbage was taken out daily, while linen and towels were changed every few days. The rooms are a bit angular and somewhat worn, but clean and repainted. We had a very pleasant stay.

Vicky, her husband Nicolas, George, Katarina and the rest of the family made our stay feel like being with our own family. It was a brilliant place to stay, really well located and only a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. My husband and I were there for a week from 1st July 2017. We’d recommend this little gem 100% and will definitely be back.

The location is right by the center of Faliraki, which was the one good thing. I stayed for 10 days, and although the bin was emptied daily, the room was only cleaned and the towels changed once. The rooms also need some repairs.
