The service was excellent, and the sunsets were spectacular. The hotel sits by a beautiful sandy bay, with several decent tavernas close by. It’s also a handy base for reaching the beaches and towns worth seeing, though Karpatos town is about half an hour away along very narrow roads that are almost empty at any time of day. The rooms are basic, and many are a long way from the entrance, with lots of stairs to climb up and down. Some fittings were broken or not working, including the soap dish, bathroom shower rack and lamps. We tried breakfast once and weren’t impressed. Good value for the money, though.

Finiki is a great place to unwind on a Karpathos holiday. The village views are panoramic, and the sunsets are super.

The views are great, and the family running the hotel are really nice.

The waffles were delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. We stopped at Malibu Snackbar to try them, and I loved the bar's atmosphere so much I could've stayed for hours, just taking in the view with music on and a cold drink. If you're passing through the lovely little town of Finiki, stop by.
