Madame Fani gave us really good suggestions, so ask her if you haven't made plans. We stayed 4-5 nights in studio 5, below pool level. The terrace was a highlight, with sunbeds and an amazing view. Inside, it was spacious, with a few couches, a dining table, and a very comfortable bed. The kitchen corner was small but well equipped. Breakfast was simple and enough for us. The room was cleaned daily, and staff called around 10-11am to ask if they could come in. The phone rings very loudly, so let them know ahead of time if you're planning to rest.

Fani and Panos gave us a wonderful welcome, and even accepted our one-night booking, thank you! The pool has an amazing view, and Chora is no more than a five-minute walk away. Our room was perfectly clean and well equipped. The only downside was hearing the water system when neighbours took long showers around midnight, as happened during our stay. I'd definitely like to come back for longer.

Having breakfast brought to our room was a lovely way to start the day. The staff were friendly and helped with anything we needed, from directions to the beach bus to lending us beach umbrellas. The transfer service dropped us right at the entrance, and town was just a two-minute walk away. Our room was spacious, warm, and a little quirky, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and room to spread out. Every room has generous outdoor space and those sea views people come for. It felt like getting Santorini's best views without the price tag. We absolutely want to return to Folegandros, and I wouldn't choose anywhere else to stay. If you're in room 1, please give the kitten some pets and treats for us. We miss his company!

Bring a jumper for the evenings. The hotel sits on a cliff top, so it gets chilly at night, though a thin jumper is enough to be comfortable. We stayed in room 3, which felt more like a junior suite, with a private balcony over the sea and really comfortable, top-quality sunbeds. There's a large pool for the number of rooms, and someone is always around if you have questions. It's about a three-minute walk to the main town, where pedestrian streets are lined with bars and restaurants. Nightlife is fairly quiet and family friendly, but there's plenty open late and lots of places to eat. Booking a transfer to or from the port costs less than a taxi.
