Artemis and her family make you feel more like one of their own than a guest, and everyone speaks perfect English. The food is very good, and the location is fantastic. The beach was the best I visited during my whole stay in Creta. The rooms were more than okay for me. I’ll come back. efkaristo :-)
We had a nice time with the kids, thanks to the playground and pleasant atmosphere. The place is run by a very friendly family, with direct access to the beach, and it’s cozy without being too fancy. We only ate at the taverna, where the Greek food was delicious and the homemade raki very tasty. My daughter says the chicken souflaki is the best in the area.
The room and the hospitality were both lovely. Being close to the sea was a real plus, and the cafe-bar-restaurant downstairs was handy. I enjoyed my stay.

I’m left feeling cheated, and I suspect this was a scam. When I arrived at the hotel, nobody was there to greet me, so I had to borrow someone else’s phone to call. They told me they were closed for winter and said they would refund me. Months later, I still haven’t received anything. I’ve emailed the hotel without getting a reply, and Booking.com won’t help me anymore. If the hotel is closed in winter, why is it listed on Booking.com? Please be careful when choosing a hotel or booking site. I don’t want anyone else ending up in our position, feeling cheated and with little chance of getting their money back.
