The proprietor is lovely, and I could easily imagine staying here for the whole winter season. It’s one of the few places open then. Our modern, comfortable room was clean and had everything we needed, with views of both sea and mountains. Olive trees surround the property, and the beach right there is lovely. There’s a supermarket, a year-round bakery with killer baklavas, and a fantastic taverna in town, all open through winter. What more do you need?

We loved it here. Calm and clean, with an amazing beach right outside. You can walk to good food, and there are rental bikes too.

It was such a peaceful place, with easy access to the beach and Taverna - Akti, where the meals were delicious. We stayed four days this summer and loved the beautiful area among the olive trees. The rooms were amazing, with stunning views, and the whole place felt very sustainable. The hostess was kind, friendly and helpful when we asked for local recommendations. We’d definitely recommend it and will come back!

So quiet and calming, with nothing around but crickets and the sound of waves. The spotless rooms are made for relaxing. From the olive grove you look out over a peaceful, crystal-clear beach with sand dunes, the Southern Cretan Sea on one side and the imposing White Mountains on the other. A magical spot in southern Crete, a real balm for the soul.

We only stopped for one night while making our way around Crete, but the lovely setting and beautiful views made an impression. The room was modern and well equipped, and the receptionist was very helpful. There’s also a nice restaurant on site serving delicious Greek food. We’d certainly recommend it.
