What made our stay at Villa Vania so memorable was Yanis and the other hosts. He welcomed us with fresh fruit and food, was always there when we needed something, and made us feel genuinely looked after. The apartment and whole villa were spotless, well kept, and equipped with everything we needed. It felt like home. We also loved the peaceful garden, and having free shaded parking right inside was a real help in the summer heat. It’s a short two-minute walk to a stunning beach, and the villa is a quiet, scenic base for exploring southern Corfu without the crowds. We really didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend Villa Vania, and we’ll be back!

The host Janis was wonderful. He gave us homemade bread, olive oil and rose wine, drove us to Lidl twice, and even took us to the airport when our bus left without us. The apartment was clean and tidy, with a small market only a few meters away. You can rent quads, cars and mopeds nearby, and the supermarkets and Lidl are five minutes away by car. It’s about five minutes on foot to the sea, and Gardenos beach is one of the most beautiful. Highly recommend, Janise, see you soon.

The hosts were some of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve met, and the rooms were clean in this quiet, lovely place. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach, with soft sand and no stones. Along the beach there are plenty of restaurants serving amazing seafood at fairly cheap prices. I’d definitely recommend it if you want a peaceful place to relax and enjoy delicious local food.
