Metochi Gavdos

Maria, Eutihia and her husband were polite and professional, and even helped us rent a car, which made exploring the island much easier. It’s easy to reach from the port: a mini bus serves this and nearby places, dropping off and picking up passengers. This is an excellent family run hotel and restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities and a nice private terrace. We had lunch and breakfast, and both were delicious. The sea views are superb, and the green surroundings, goats and roosters make it feel close to nature. It’s very quiet at night. Highly recommended!

Maria takes care of everything and helped me with bus transport and other things. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the restaurant is really good. It would be nice if all the rooms had a full sea view. I totally recommend it.

The owners of Metochi are super friendly and made the holiday unforgettable. The food is amazing, fresh and homemade, with veggie options too. We liked the place so much that we extended our stay. The rooms are fairly basic, but have everything you need. It’s a great spot to relax, chill and forget about the rest of the world, with good vibes and great hospitality. Gavdos is also great for an active holiday, with lots of hiking trails and the best beaches. Maria, thanks a lot for everything. We’ll be back one day to visit Metochi.
