Zac & Georgio Studios Hotel

Everything was close enough to walk to, from the beach to restaurants, shops, bars, and supermarkets. We went in September, so the aparthotel was very quiet, and there were plenty of sunbeds. The trees are lovely, and the path looks really nice with its blue lights at night. There was an adorable resident cat, though sadly I'm allergic. The one small drawback was the open showers, since water splashed everywhere, but it wasn't a major issue. Geogio was brilliant, so accommodating and genuinely nice to chat with. I know running a business isn't easy, and he made things feel easy for us. We'd be very happy to come back.

I felt safe and really looked after on my first solo trip, and the owner helped make it such a special holiday. He's helpful, trustworthy, always happy to chat, and cooks good food. The location works so well, with the beach and lots of restaurants nearby, plus a bus stop close by for the best way to get to heraklion. The apartments are pleasant, with balconies and good views, and all have air conditioning. The pool is pretty and lovely for a swim, there are always enough sunbeds, and the music by the pool is really good. I definitely recommend staying here.

I've been returning every year, sometimes twice a year, for 12 years. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. Georgio's cooking and warm hospitality are wonderful, so although there are plenty of nearby places to eat and drink, you may not feel like going elsewhere. The pool is a good size for a proper swim, with lots of sunbeds and an outdoor shower. The mature gardens are full of palms, grape vines, jasmine, and potted herbs along the paths. They smell heavenly in the evenings. The rooms are basic but have what you need, and the beds are comfortable. It's a lovely hotel near the beach and a lively, touristy town.

A great spot for a quiet break. The rooms are kept clean and have air conditioning, though I spent most of my time by the pool, enjoying the fresh food. Everything you might need is a five-minute walk away. Both brothers, Zach and Georgio, are really friendly and welcoming.
