A few restaurants and a bakery are just down the road, and Nydri is only a few minutes away. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place. The room was modern and clean, with a peaceful view over the garden and sea. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and picking up a rented boat right from the pontoon in front of the house was super convenient. Thanks to the hosts, I'd happily recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with magnificent views, even though this isn't a high end 5 star hotel. You can hire a Rigid Inflatable Boat(RIB) at the hotel. Just down the road, several waterside restaurants get visits from tenders coming in from anchored yachts. The seafood was par excellence, and the beer and ouzo suited the Greek setting perfectly. This was a real find, and I'd definitely come back.

The extra charge for our 7 year old daughter was eventually explained to us, and we paid 12 euro per night, even though we hadn't asked for an additional bed. The explanation was that she would also use water and electricity, which I found rather ridiculous. We might use as much water and electricity as two people if I were acting in bad faith, but I'm not. The policy wasn't clear, and this could have been handled much more diplomatically. Even just asking how our trip had gone would have been a better way to start. At check-in, Mrs Kyriaki was unfriendly and nearly yelled while trying to explain that our reservation didn't include the child. We didn't understand at first because she seemed so nervous with us, and it took about five minutes for her to calm down enough for us to understand. After more than five hours of driving and that kind of welcome, we just wanted to get to the beach. We were told the room would be cleaned every three days. We stayed for seven, but it was cleaned only once, on the fourth day. Some friends stayed at Gena Bay nearby for less, with the same conditions and view, and a very nice host. I've been coming to Greece every year for almost 15 years and have never had such a bad experience with a host.

It's a lovely spot by the sea, with clean, pleasant rooms, friendly staff and good, secure parking. The area is beautiful and there are nice restaurants nearby. The price feels a little high for what's included, but we stayed a week and still warmly recommend the place. A few small improvements might make it a five star stay. A swim ladder at the jetty would make getting into the water easier. Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent in the rooms, so a repeater on each floor could help. New plates and cutlery would be welcome, perhaps from IKEA. The TVs are very small, though I personally don't watch TV, so that wasn't an issue for me. Families might appreciate an upgrade. It's a well managed place in a beautiful area. Hope this gives a fair picture and helps the owners improve. Until next time 👍
