The villa was even nicer in person than it looked in the photos, and everything went smoothly. The assistant was especially helpful, suggesting local things to see each day, and communication was easy. I’d recommend staying here.

This is a long and very negative review, and it’s about the management and poor customer service, not the villa’s appearance. I booked the villa in March 2020 for our October wedding. My partner and I live in the UK, while our parents are in Lithuania. Lithuania closed to many countries in mid-August, so after a lot of thought we decided to move the wedding to May 2021. We explained the situation to the villa and asked to move the dates, saying we’d be willing to pay more. The manager was unpleasant and rude, and said he didn’t care and wouldn’t change them. Before paying, we had asked whether we could move the dates to the following year because of the pandemic or another issue. He said of course. We paid the full amount on 15 August 2020, but afterwards he changed his mind. He knew we would have cancelled the booking if he’d said no. We were angry, but could still understand his position, so we decided to go on holiday that year and find a better villa for our wedding. My partner works for the NHS in a hospital and works with people who have COVID every day. On 12 October 2020, all hospital staff were tested, and my partner’s result was positive. That meant we had to isolate for 14 days and couldn’t travel until 26 October, but our booking started on 19 October. My partner contacted Booking.com and the villa manager straight away to ask to cancel or move the dates to the following year, because travelling that year wasn’t really possible without a problem. Management said neither cancellation nor a date change was possible. If we didn’t arrive on 19 October, they would keep our money and start looking for a new tenant. It’s your choice whether to book this villa, but I wouldn’t recommend it. You can find much better villas in Crete, with better prices, views, and service. Please learn from my mistake and never pay the full amount if a hotel or villa keeps the whole payment when you cancel.

Everything was gorgeous, and our vacation assistant was especially lovely. I recommend seeing the place for yourself.
