The mountain view at breakfast was incredible, and waking up to that scenery was a treat. We stayed in the top floor studio, which cost a few extra euros compared with the others, but the view made it worthwhile. The place felt tucked away in a special, secluded area, yet it was close to the lake itself and some of the best tavernas around Kournas lake. Our stay felt authentic and close to nature, a perfect getaway during a trip to Crete. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with facilities that seemed recently renovated and modern. The host greeted us so warmly. Since my partner had a birthday, I asked if they could arrange something for our arrival. The host surprised us with lovely balloons, fruit, and wine. It was amazing. Totally recommend!

The garden was lovely, the view amazing, and the lake just a short walk away. The rooms have been recently renovated, are well kept, and have everything for a short or longer stay. Warm, down to earth people and Cretan hospitality at its best. We’ll definitely return!

A great family run hotel, in a countryside setting but still close to local amenities. They bring breakfast to your room whenever you want in the morning, so you can have it on the balcony and enjoy the views. Thank you!

The room and location were brilliant. But we had no running water for a day and a half, and there was no offer of a refund or even a free breakfast as an apology. After I got home, I woke up to an upsetting message from the owner saying he knew I’d stolen a towel and coffee pods, then demanding money. Really disappointed.
