Casa Belvedere Boutique Villa

Tanja looked after us so well and was always helpful. We researched a lot of villas, and Casa Belvedere checked all the boxes. My wife and I stayed there in September 2020 and had an amazing time. The modern villa has a castle-like feel, with a grand interior, plenty of space, roof views, and a cooling pool. We rented the whole property because we had expected more family to join us, but either apartment would have been more than enough for a family of four. The village has a lovely rustic charm, friendly locals and welcoming restaurants serving great local food at very reasonable prices. Each one has something special, so visit them all. We took some of their homemade wine back to the villa in our empty water bottles and relaxed outside at night, listening to the village wind down. We’ll be back when things are right in the world again.

We loved this comfortable, well-equipped villa, tucked away in a quaint little Cretan town. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and it’s within walking distance of several restaurants and close to the northern beaches. My only gripes: the air conditioning could work better on the upper floors, and parking around the villa is tight because it’s so tucked into town. Can’t wait to return!

Tanja and her family were attentive, helpful hosts. The location is hard to beat: tucked away from the main tourist riviera, but close enough to enjoy it if you want. It’s on a quiet street, near the bustle, and Georgioupolis beach is a short drive away. There’s free parking right outside. We had loads of room. The kitchen was handy for storing food and making tea or coffee, the bathrooms were a good size with strong showers, the beds were comfortable, and there was a big couch to relax on. We also had use of a washing machine and a clothesline out back. Everything we needed was there. I’d highly recommend it and hope to come back myself.
