The area was lovely, and our host was so nice. We stayed in a beautiful apartment in a peaceful spot near a stunning lake. Next door, a woman sells freshly squeezed homemade orange juice, definitely worth trying!

The owner was enthusiastic and very helpful, thanks for having us! It’s a lovely, well equipped villa with plenty of privacy for a family or group of friends, and a great base for enjoying Crete. It’s near the beach and Kourna lake, though both are a bit too far to reach on foot along the busy road with its “blind” corners.

Recently renovated and in perfect shape, this house has two bedrooms, sleeps five, and even has a private above-ground pool. Shops and restaurants in Georgioupolis are close by. It worked really well as a base for exploring western Crete without having to drive too far :) The little restaurant next door serves tasty local dishes and orange juice for €1.50 per person.
