Palladion

We’ve been here twice now, and we’ll come back again. Samuel and his family are so welcoming and happy to help. The rooms are spotless and, while not luxurious, they’re perfectly comfortable for a week. It’s a ten-minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach. You can also have a lovely continental breakfast for an extra charge, and there’s a nice sea view wherever you are.

The service from Samouil, Rena and Dimitra was perfect, always with a smile. We stayed at the Palladion hotel for 10 days and had a spacious room with a gorgeous view of the sea and Cretan mountains. The pool has a gradual depth, with sunbeds and parasols, and we enjoyed snacks and cocktails on the terrace and by the pool. It’s near the main road but the neighbourhood is still calm, and the beach is just five minutes away. Samouil also gave us great restaurant tips, including Bonatsa, Polychronis and Pelagia's Yard, and helpful advice on booking an adventurous trip like Samaria Gorge. One of the best holidays we’ve had in years. Thank you!

Samuel and the team went out of their way to sort out our requests and issues, and the customer service was top-notch. Our room was cleaned every day. It’s a friendly, clean and comfortable family-run apartment hotel, and a handy base for Kourtaliotiko Gorge, Lake Kournas, which we visited three times, and the Georgioupolis area. My flight got in late, but the host was there waiting for me at 4 a.m. The place has a unique atmosphere, and they really try to make guests happy. The hotel is clean, quiet and close to a sandy beach. My room was spacious and had a fridge and air conditioning. This was my second stay at Palladion Hotel, and I might well come back again. Highly recommend it.
