Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

I’ve never relaxed this much at a hotel. The atmosphere is so calming, and both the service and food were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back soon. If you want time away without feeling pressured to explore, this place is a great choice. And if you do want to get out and see things, that’s easy too. It has everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

We spent a wonderful holiday here in early September and would highly recommend the Pilot Amphora. The hotel is very peaceful, and every member of the team, from the manager to the catering and cleaning staff, was generous and friendly. Nothing felt like too much trouble. The manager offered us a shuttle to the sister hotel, where we could use the lovely facilities, including the beach and free loungers. He also arranged access to their newer Oros Hotel, about 15 minutes up the road, so we could enjoy the beach at Episcopi. A big thank you to the whole team. We’d love to return.

The food was a highlight. It was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and every meal felt like a treat. The hotel is elegant, clean, and relaxing, but the people and service are what made the stay so special. From our arrival, the staff’s warmth and professionalism made us feel at home. Everyone greeted us with a smile and seemed to truly care about our comfort. The manager deserves a special mention too. He was professional, approachable, friendly, and helpful throughout. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Crete.

Being close to Georgioupoli made it easy to walk into town, or to the beach, which takes about five minutes. We stayed at the Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel in August and really enjoyed it. Our Indulge Room with Private Pool felt luxurious, with a spacious modern layout, a great rainfall shower, and quiet but effective air conditioning. The pool was a lovely extra, kept very clean, and at 1.35m deep it was great for relaxing. It felt private despite the nearby rooms. Guests can also use the large shared pool in the middle of the complex. We booked bed and breakfast and had no complaints about the offering. The fresh fruit stood out in particular. We also tried dinner at the restaurant one evening and liked both the food and the service. The dishes were refined but still had a Greek feel. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, this could be a great fit.
