Sohora Villas

The outdoor space at Villa Logari was the highlight for us: a huge kitchen, a lovely garden with tropical plants, and a peaceful pool that was refreshing without being cold. There were loungers and even a double floating bed on the water. Inside, the villa felt bright, clean, modern, and spacious, with room for couples, families, or friends. It’s about a 10 minute drive up the hill from Alymrida, and the rooftop has beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Each morning we got a handy breakfast delivery with pastries, juice, yoghurt, and bread. The villa company also helped arrange dinners in town and taxis, and were around if we needed anything. We had some great barbecues using the facilities, and found good butchers and fish shops in the nearby towns. We spent five amazing nights here and loved every minute. We took a taxi to Psoras for dinner twice because it was so good. A lovely place for some peace and quiet while still being close to town. Thank you Sohora villas for a perfect stay.

The rooftop hot tub was a lovely spot for mountain views, sunsets, and stars. We also enjoyed the fresh breakfast basket each morning and the nearby village, which has a shop and taverna. The beach resort is about a 10 minute drive away. We stayed in October. The villa was very new and well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We paid extra to heat the pool to 30 degrees. It was expensive, but worth it for us because health reasons meant we needed to swim and exercise every day. Without the heating, the water would have been too cold to use. Christina was quick to answer questions and sort out any problems. Happy to recommend it, and we’d gladly return.

We spent a week here in July 2024, though I’m late writing this. The roof views were amazing, with sunrises and sunsets to remember. Breakfast was lovely too, especially the fresh juices and local sweets, and our hosts were so friendly and always available. The heated pool and jacuzzi were amazing. This is the most beautiful villa we’ve ever stayed in, and everything felt perfect. I’d absolutely recommend it and would book again if we come back to Crete.

The daily breakfast baskets were such a treat, and we loved watching the sunset from the roof terrace. We had a wonderful 13 days at Villa Logari and really didn’t want to leave. Our hosts were very helpful and responsive, and arranged airport transfers and car hire for us, which made things much easier.
