Alkinoos Beach Hotel

The staff are so friendly, and that alone would bring me back. It’s a small, quiet place that’s great for relaxing, with direct beach access and a lovely pool. The rooms are very clean, though the walls are thin, as they are in many places in Greece. The water at the beach has some stones, and it isn’t as pristine as in Sithonia. A car is recommended. I’d come again!

We had a really good view of the beach, either from the side or straight on depending on the room, and the rooms were all clean. The maids did a great job. The pool was very clean too, and the bar beside it serves lunch, smoothies, cocktails, branded drinks and food. I liked the burger and club sandwiches. Breakfast works in a fun way: each day you choose from a menu, hand it to the staff, and at 8:30 AM they bring your food in a basket. For the price, I think the quality is hard to beat. There are lots of restaurants and grocery shops nearby. I'd suggest 4 seasons for a meal and Discount markt for groceries. Watch out for rocks in the sea, they're everywhere. A really pleasant stay, especially for families. The place is quiet, and there's a nice pool for adults as well as a kids' pool. The beach is wide with nice water, though the entrance is rocky before it turns sandy again a few metres out. The bar has simple food, cold drinks and cocktails. I only wish the service crew smiled a little more. Parking is free, and the Wi-Fi signal is pretty good across the whole place. It's worth a visit.
